Good Neighbor Policy
One outcome of the Annual Meeting was that members want to help one another comply with our neighborhoods' governing documents. So, if you see garbage bins left out and they might interfere with snow removal, or trash will blow out and cause littering, please help by moving the bins up to their garage, or at least out of the way of the snow plows.

Also, please remember Park City requires dogs be on leashes on the street. Please pick-up and properly dispose of your dog's waste.

Thank you.

Exterior Lighting
Park City adheres to the "Dark Sky Initiative." From November 1 through March 1, seasonal lights should be off after 11:00 p.m. Please put a timer on your exterior lights and help the wildlife that relies on the natural darkness of night. Note: This also applies to garages with transparent or translucent doors. Turn off the lights at night.

Rental Home Guidelines & Rental Homeowner Contact Information
If you rent your home you must notify the HOA so that we have CURRENT local contact information in the event someone needs to reach you or your property manager. Here is the link to the form you can use: Rental Homeowner Information  Update Form.

Homeowners, please be sure that you, and/or your managing agent, correctly represent the rental terms and conditions for renting your home within the Solamere HOA. There have been some misleading advertisements on sites such as VRBO. If you see a misleading ad, please report it to our managing agent. 435-655-9696

Per the CC&R's, and board approved Homeowner Rental Rules and Regulations, homeowners in the Solamere Homeowner's Association may rent their homes for a minimum of 7 consecutive days per visit. Our neighborhood agreement states that rentals are for "residential use only, occupancy for parties, hospitality use, commercial use, or of a disruptive nature are prohibited..." All parking is in driveways with no street parking allowed.

A Nightly Rental License issued by Park City is required for homeowners who rent their homes for less than month to month. Here is the link to the Nightly Rental License Application: Nightly Rental License Application
Thistles and Other Noxious Weeds
The board recognizes that there is a bumper crop of thistles in our neighborhood.  Sprayings have been done in the common areas and will continue. Lot owners are responsible for eradicating invasive weeds, such as thistle, from their lots.   If you have questions about what you might do to assist the eradication on your lot, call Marianne Meek for a recommendation on what landscape company the HOA is using.

Dog Reminder
The Board has received multiple complaints about the disturbance caused by dogs owned by Solamere residents. Specifically many dogs seem to be permitted to roam unrestrained, bark excessively or chase both adults and children. We encourage each dog owner to respectfully monitor and restrain their dog so that other residents are not impacted by them.

Most pet owners know it is unlawful to let their dog run at large in Summit County. The Animal Control office has taken proactive measures in assisting people to have their dog on a leash. Don't let your pet become a victim, please be a responsible owner. Keep your dog leashed and please respect other people's property by cleaning up after your pet!
